Privacy

What we collect

• —Your email — when you subscribe to the Friday Edition or when you enter it to unlock a full Fit Checker report. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else.
• —Anonymous click data — when someone clicks Apply on a role, we record the time, the browser's user-agent string, and the page they came from. We don't pair this with your email or any other personal identifier.

What we don't collect

• —Accounts. There's nothing to sign up for beyond the newsletter.
• —IP addresses. We read them at the moment of each request to rate-limit the forms, but we don't persist them anywhere.
• —Marketing cookies. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party trackers.
• —Advertising data. Jobfork has never run an ad and has no advertiser dashboard to feed.

Fit Checker

The Fit Checker reads a CV against a job and returns a structured report. Here's how the data moves.

• —When you paste your CV and submit, the text is sent to a third-party AI provider — Google, via the Gemini API — for a single analysis. The pasted CV text is not retained by Jobfork after the report returns.
• —If you stop at the score and the one-line verdict, nothing is saved.
• —If you enter your email to unlock the full report, two things happen: your email is added to the Friday Edition subscriber list with the source “fit-checker”, and the generated report — score, strengths, gaps, tailored summary, bullets, cover note, interview questions — is saved against that email. The CV text itself is still not kept.
• —Google processes the pasted text under its own terms; their data handling is independent of ours. Don't paste anything into the Fit Checker that you would not be comfortable sending to a third-party AI service.

Where the data lives

We store subscriber data securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Your rights

• —Unsubscribe at any time, in one click, through the link at the bottom of any Friday Edition. The link carries a signed token that flips your record to unsubscribed without asking you to sign in. We honor the request immediately and won't email you again unless you opt back in.
• —Request your data, or its deletion, by writing to info@jobfork.co. We'll confirm within a week and remove every record we hold tied to your email.

Cookies

Jobfork doesn't set any cookies on visitors. No tracking, no marketing, no third-party cookies, ever.
