Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe and translate video content accurately from Haitian Creole to English and vice versa while maintaining context and meaning.
  • Clearly identify and outline timestamps for transcribed materials to ensure precise reference points.
  • Describe and interpret the emotional undertones and expressivity of speakers within audio and video content.
  • Analyze grammar, vocabulary, and tone to provide detailed linguistic insights and recommendations.
  • Define conceptual meanings and clarify ambiguous terms for a deeper understanding of language use.
  • Collaborate with the customer's team to fulfill a range of complex language and communication assignments.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality outputs while managing at least 15 hours of work per week.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Haitian Creole and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis at an advanced level.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to capture subtle nuances in emotion, tone, and meaning.
  • Background in linguistics, communications, or related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Comfortable with digital tools for transcription, annotation, and team collaboration.
  • Demonstrated commitment of at least 15 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working with multicultural, remote teams.
  • Background in emotional intelligence or discourse analysis.
