Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe Galician-language video content with meticulous attention to accuracy and clarity.
- Clearly outline and annotate precise timestamps for dialogue and scene changes.
- Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers, capturing subtleties and mood shifts.
- Conduct advanced grammar, syntax, and tone analysis to ensure linguistic fidelity.
- Define and explain the conceptual meaning of words and idiomatic expressions within context.
- Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver insightful linguistic feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Consistently meet complex language task requirements, adhering to a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Galician and English languages.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for linguistic detail.
- Proven experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis.
- Strong understanding of Galician and English grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
- Ability to identify, articulate, and describe speaker emotion and content tone.
- Technological proficiency and comfort working with digital content and collaborative platforms.
- High level of self-motivation and commitment to delivering quality work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Linguistics, Philology, Translation Studies, or related field.
- Experience with linguistic annotation or corpus analysis tools.
- Background in educational, research, or media translation projects.
